Here are a few pics from a henna session last night at the salon. A family came in to have henna tattoos to celebrate their cousin coming back into town from Washington D.C. where she was an intern at NPR ‘s “All Things Considered” . That’s such a cool position!
Anyways, on to the pictures of the bird design henna on the hand – I think this bird is a sparrow. The other designs are two hand designs and a foot tattoo. One is a triquetra turned into a flower and the other hand is a floral henna design recreation from an ebook. The foot was a custom request for a henna ankle bracelet with the flower falling down her foot.

Here are the photos for the Indian henna party in Traverse City, Michigan. It was a fusion wedding- so there were lots of people unfamiliar with henna which made it fun for me to explain the art of henna to them. Also, I really love Traverse City and eating at Amical – one of my favorite restaurants.

Traverse City Henna:
Hello! Today I am travelling to Traverse City for a Henna Party . Its beautiful up there. I’ll be doing henna for an Indian wedding. I’m very excited to get to go. I’ll post pictures when I get back.

Hello all! I had a lovely model in the henna salon and photo studio for a few moments to showcase some simple bridal henna designs on her hands. There is a photography studio set up at my henna salon at all times. When you get your henna done, you can get pics taken for free! I’ll email them to you so you can have professional photos taken of your special henna design.

Today I worked on part one of a photoshoot and did bridal mehndi designs on the model . Then we are meeting again for the other photos at my henna salon in three days when the stain will look great as it turns dark brown.

Today I got to meet a lot of great girls for a cute, girly birthday party here in Ann Arbor. They had a yoga instructor to work with all the girls, personalized yoga mat party favors, a slip and slide, pastel-colored cupcakes and me! My henna tattoo art was part of a New York Times Article – > The All Girls Prom picture 3 on the slideshow. I was really proud to be apart of such a great event – an all girls prom in Hamtramck, Michigan so girls who cannot “party with boys” as they said to me, could have a prom. The girls had a great time and I really enjoyed doing henna for them. I hope they make it an annual affair.

Indian Bridal Henna Michigan – Mehndi Party
Hello! I just got back from my trip to KawKawlin, Michigan to do Indian Bridal Henna for a very sweet bride whose destination wedding is to Jamaica. She wanted elaborate Indian mehndi from her elbows to finger tips on the palm side and elaborate but less intricate design on the back of her hands. She also wanted to incorporate the peacock in her design. I also did her feet with pretty flowers and paisleys. I love the way it came out! I hope you like it, too.

This weekend I got to be apart of a very special henna party for a lovely pregnant girl and do henna on her baby belly. Michigan henna tattoo
New Michigan Henna tattoo Designs ! Henna arm and hand designs that are all original designs of Kelly Caroline . Today 3 of 4 of these designs were done on violin players.. how odd is that? I think its pretty cool, but very odd that I would have 3 violin player clients on the same day.
The first design is an Indian henna inspired hand
Next is a henna arm design with a mandala
Next is a henna glove design with lines and triangles for the fingers
And for her other hand was a similar design I did with triangles and lines
And finally this picture is of the sweet 16 birthday girl (the 3rd violinist) and her mom who got henna done on their hands today for her birthday. How cute are they?
