Today I had the opportunity to do one of my favorite gigs – a baby belly henna design at a belly blessing ceremony / henna party in Ann Arbor, Michigan. مراهنات كرة القدم The pregnant belly is such a beautiful canvas. The design she choose was a large mandala flower and she wanted to incorporate orchid lady slipper flowers in the design, too. تعليم البوكر للمبتدئين I suggested we place one on either side of her belly, and she just loved it. The orchid design is a replication of her mother’s lady slipper orchid tattoo so that was really special. All the other ladies at the party got simple henna designs done so they could carry a piece of the ceremony with them as they left.

Here are the photos for the Indian henna party in Traverse City, Michigan. It was a fusion wedding- so there were lots of people unfamiliar with henna which made it fun for me to explain the art of henna to them. Also, I really love Traverse City and eating at Amical – one of my favorite restaurants.

Traverse City Henna:
Hello! Today I am travelling to Traverse City for a Henna Party . Its beautiful up there. I’ll be doing henna for an Indian wedding. I’m very excited to get to go. I’ll post pictures when I get back.

Today I got to meet a lot of great girls for a cute, girly birthday party here in Ann Arbor. They had a yoga instructor to work with all the girls, personalized yoga mat party favors, a slip and slide, pastel-colored cupcakes and me! (doing henna for all the girls) It was a blast. <3 Here are just two quick pictures I snapped while I did at the henna party .
