I wanted to share this photo as a reminder to myself that I have so many incredibly thoughtful people in my life and I feel so blessed because of it. After you "grow up", gifts are not expected for birthdays that's why I am so surprised that these people went out of their way to shower me with gifts voluntarily. In a world where time is short, people can be so busy running around with the day to day tasks, i greatly appreciate when people carve out time to spend with me. Thanks to EVERYONE who shares themselves and their time with me, however brief. That is a gift in and of itself️️

Happy Halloween (almost!)

An annual tradition that has been going on for 15 years now in my family has come and gone yet again- our Pumpkin Painting party!  I love this time of the year to be with my family and we all get together and have a competition and a vote to see who’s pumpkin is the best decorated of the whole year. We also fry fresh doughnuts and since all of the men in my family are musical, we have a Monster Mash jam . It is my favorite family event of the year because of its quirks and creativity and everyone has FUN.
