Today was a lovely day, mainly because of Judah, but the weather was so nice here in Ypsilanti. One of those days where the clouds just are picturesque.
Judah was being a really happy baby. how long does ivermectin take to kill scabies
He loves his reindeer to chew on.
and to be without a diaper. – But Seventh Generation Diapers are the ONLY diapers to buy! Fragrance & latex free! They’re amazing.
Have a Lovely Day! – its easy, don’t try too hard <3

I set up my henna booth at the Crossroads Music Festival here in Ypsilanti on Friday. Its a weekly music festival that is free to the public. Vendors can come and set up for $10 and do as they please. Its so wonderful to get to see what Ypsi really is all about – music, diversity, art & conversation. I got to meet so many nice people and Nathan, Judah and I plan to be there every Friday until the beginning of Fall.
Here is an octopus I did on my upper leg for fun and to get my hand muscles back into working order. It took about 45 minutes, 60 minutes including the 15 minute break I took. The design was inspired from an online photo.
Here is the photo of the stain it made after the paste was removed. There reason why its not as dark as my henna usually comes out is because of the place on my body where I did the design.
This photo is three days later after the henna was first applied. You can see it has gotten even darker. Henna designs get to their darkest stain 48 hours after the paste is removed.
Just a tip : to keep your henna design longer, apply a waxy balm to protect the area daily and before you get it wet. I prefer Mama Bee Belly Balm ( that I had left over from my baby being born )

Last night (the night before Father’s Day), I wanted to do a little something extra for Nathan since it was his first Father’s Day. I had already gotten him a few other small things he wanted like a white replacement jewel for his Fender Hot Rod Deluxe to be like the White Lightening.
So I got out some supplies and made a simply mounted photo
* 2 designs of complimentary scrapbook paper
* clear tape/mounting squares
* scissors
* recycled picture frame
* favorite photo
and viola! Very simple, lovely gift your Father of choice can have at his desk at work, in his office or in his home.
HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all Dads, Moms, Grandpas, Uncles, Big Brothers, Sisters – anyone who has been a teacher or inspiration to a child!!

I am totally blessed and happy with my life. Of course there are ups and downs, but there are too many wonderful things to let anything keep me sad.
Life lately has just shown me how truly grateful I need to be for the big things like my supportive husband, perfectly healthy happy baby boy, my humble house, my working legs & arms and the smaller things like the flowers I planted outside, chocolate milk, carpet and stickers.
There are few better ways to enjoy your life than to inspire others to a appreciate theirs, too.
Here are some recent pictures of the garden and life around here lately.
This is a red poppy. I love that its such an intense color, but its less than paper-thin and fragile.
a sprig of blueberries that are coming in nicely
The strawberry plant that is roommates with the raspberry bush.
Wildflowers from the garden. Also, this is a great holder for flower. I made it with a regular teacup. The teacup I got for Mother’s Day. (this would make such a cute gift!)
